James Frail was cast as the Ghost because he looked dead. In fact we thought he was dead several times on set until upon closer inspection strange gurgling sounds started to emanate from his left nostril. He's very practised at this - adopting a similar stance whenever its his round. This attention to method acting ideals was carried forward to the shoot. A mere suggestion that the Ghost should appear a little beaten up resulted in him physically assaulting himself for ten minutes prior to takes. We put such strange behaviour down to the fact that he's orginally from Luton, where, we believe such behaviour is the social norm.
Tallulah is the original good time had by all, and was extremely upset that no sex scenes were factored into the screenplay. Dedicated to the last she penned some suggestions which were seriously considered, and may well have been adopted but for the high cost of coating the 22 strong cast in mayonaise and suiting the male as oysters. |
